S.H. Soykot, Moulvibazar district correspondent: A youth was chopped
to death by cousin over land dispute at Gramtola village in Borolekha
Upazila of the Moulvibazar district on Saturday around 6am.
The deceased was identified as Nepal Kor, 18, son of Gupal Kor in same
village in Borolekha Upazila of the Moulvibazar district.
Md. Moniuzaman, officer-in-charge of Borolekha Police Station said,
cousin Sumia Kor,19, and Dilip Kor,21, swooped on Nepal chopped him
with sharp weapons indiscriminatel y at about 6am when he was
bargaining with him in a tea stall under the village over a piece of
land. Serious injured Nepal
admitted in Borolekha Health complex. Then duty doctors declared to death.
Informed, police recovered the body and sent it to Moulvibazar Sadar
Hospital morgue for autopsy. Nepal might have been killed over land
dispute, the OC added.
Sumia Kor, 19, and Dilip Kor,21 arrested from the same village for
involvement in the killing around 10am. Victim family filed murder
case in this connection, he added.
